Lviv Centre for Scientific, Technical and Economical Information (CSTEI) is incoporated in the System Scientific,Technical Information in the Ukraine and is coordinated by the Ministry of Education and Sciences. The main essence of the CSTEI's activity is providing information for effective scientific-innovative, educational and business activities.

CSTEI is the regional representative of the Ukrainian Association of Intellectual Property and Information Services and the Business Innovation Centre “ Lviv Technopolis”.

The main objectives of CSTEI are to satisfy the requests of enterprises, organisations and individuals with scientific, technical and economic information; and to analyse problems and form approaches concerning innovative structures in the conditions of social and economical transformations.

CSTEI provides analytical reviews, high-quality informational service, business consulting, patent-information and sociological surveys, consulting on the protection and commercialisation of intellectual property and disposes of regional datebases.

The commercialisation of the information resources is implemented by preparing analytical reviews and organising conferences, seminars and exhibitions.
